Here at Smile Doctors, we offer different treatments for teeth replacement. If you are looking to replacing a whole set of teeth or only a few, dentures might be the solution for you. Dentures are a removable appliance that is costumed made to resemble your teeth and gum tissue, and it can fully restore the appearance of your smile!

There are two types of dentures, complete and partial dentures. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth are remaining. Complete dentures will replace a full set of your upper or lower teeth or both. The benefit of partial dentures is that it will replace the missing teeth, but it will also prevent the existing teeth from shifting.

Shifting occurs when there are missing, since there is a gap, the adjacent teeth will shift in position and angles, which can create problems in the future.

This long-term solution will require a carefully planned treatment, which takes several appointments. Measurement and molds of your teeth and mouth will be taken to get the exact dimensions to create the dentures that will be used comfortably. Once the fit is perfect, the doctor will adjust and place them using special denture glue that will allow it to stay in place.

If you are looking at different teeth replacement methods and you are interested in complete or partial dentures, call (916) 575-7536 or come visit us at 8143 Long Point Rd., Houston, TX 77055 – we would love to restore the beauty in your smile!
